Praxo is a cloud-based platform that streamlines the administration of work placements — APL, PRAO and summer jobs — for schools and municipalities. By gathering documentation, contracts and communication in one GDPR-secure system, schools, students and workplaces share a single, up-to-date view of the entire placement period, from planning to completion.
In Praxo, schools organise placement periods and coordinate the matching between students and workplaces. The digital workplace registry is connected to the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) and offers smart search functions for fast handling. Students can apply for placements, and workplaces see their commitments for PRAO, APL and summer positions — directly in the platform.
Contracts are signed digitally by the school, the student and the workplace. For PRAO, guardian consent, attendance and supervisor feedback are handled digitally, and for APL, mappings, risk assessments, supervisor training and teachers' visit journals are managed directly in the system. Less paperwork — more time for the students.
With the Praxo app for iOS and Android, students have their placement information, records and assessments right on their phone. The app is designed to make the placement period easier to navigate — for students and supervisors alike.
